The innovative design of the Auto-Lok Hook incorporates a latch which is always locked for maximum safety. The latch has safety releases on each side which are easily depressed by a rescuer with a gloved hand, or by an untrained survivor. The latch is designed to be operated with one hand and is very easy to use in cold weather

The Auto-Lok hook is designed for maximum safety by preventing accidental openings and roll out. Both safety releases must be depressed before the latch will open. The hook body is made from a 17.4 ph heat treated stainless steel forging to ensure strength, durability, resistance to the elements and abuse. The hook body was tested to an ultimate load of 16,000 pounds. The latch and safety releases are also made from 17.4 ph stainless steel. The hook has a large capacity to accommodate multiple rings and carabiners. The gap opening of the hook is 1.25 inches which makes loading of the attachments quick and easy. There is a 3/4” eye incorporated in the body of the hook to accommodate equipment, trail/tag line hook up, or the addition of a chemlite. The eye was tested to an ultimate load of 17,000 pounds. The hook meets all hoist manufacturers’ specifications and exceeds the US Mil Spec.The Auto-Lok is available with a threaded shaft or stainless steel swivel so it can be used with a cable splice, rope or for other attachment purposes.
